Clean Cruiser

This is one super clean polo! Ive spotted this car a few times on the road but never actually got a chance to take some photos of it until this weekend.. This polo is rolling on original BBS VR6 rims with a custom paint job. The attention to detail is quite sweet on this car, with the checker block roof, roof racks and the nice place stickers.

Our Rim Obsession!

Here at CapeStance we love old school rims, brand spanking new designs, crazy colours, rims that are unique, rims that give people style or a certain image, we love rims with deep dishes, and some low offsets...

THE Black Duo

The Killer Black Duo From the southern suburbs! These two guys have crazy obsession not only with Hondas but with their rides being slammed and stanced out to the max!! Firstly the civic is fitted with every single aftermarket goodie you can think of!! From a Mugen front lip, right down to high polished rear lower control arms!! This crazy civic belongs to Adeeb Dollie and has built this ride from the ground up. She was a hopeless lost cause when he found her, but Adeeb saw great potential her and brought her to the point where she is now. The civic rolls on full Skunk2 coilovers which are turned right down to the floor!! Adeeb's Not only is Adeeb's exterior paid attention to, the whole entire car has been tailored to his liking. The engine bay has a few things and especially the interior. Sweet accessories such as Bride Bucket seats on super low rails, some ICE as well as some C and C-B pillar struts which not only give better handling but give a great look from the outside of the vehicle!!

The black ballade on the other hand belongs to Chad Bailey, the brother of Junaid Bailey, Mr Hotstuff. (A reknowned Honda mechanic and family which these 2 hondas are a part of.) The black ballade lays very close to the heart of the owner. As soon as he sees something wrong as a dent or chip on on door, he'll get the whole side repsrayed!! The ballade is currently riding on megan racing sleeve overs with ian gloss shortened shocks. The front is slammed to its lowest setting where as the rear is turned slightly higher as to allow that the massive 9J Lenso BSX's to clear and not touch as this is his daily ride. This car just 3 days before the shoot was rolling on k-sport fully adjustable coilovers, but chad opted for these as they give a softer drive for daily drive. He says he plans on puttin the k-sports in for those special track outings. Just to spice things up abit, the motor has been upgrade to the infamous B20. For a short while it is non-vtec but he's just waiting on his custom head and stage 2 cams and valve springs and retainers to arrive and go vtec.

WheelWhore Faghri's Rat-Style Mk1 aka "Groenie"

I was fortunate enough to be welcomed to Faghri's little sanctuary and like a true wheel whore he opened up the door in his I HEART RIMS tshirt which he sleeps in! The purpose of the visit was to discuss the printing of the stickers but also for him to enlighten me, even further than I already am, on the dubkorps side of life. But not just the ordinary footage and info, but the behind the scenes and creation of the vdub society. He showed me some of the awol.tv productions and made me insane by showing me some crazy variations of my first love, the BBS RS 3 piece split rim! Faghri is one of the very fortunate few in Cape Town own a original set of these BBS rims. Unfortunately i didnt stay long enough to get some pics of these babies, but i did manage to get pics of One of his rides; his green mk1 which is rolling on ORIGINAL MOMO Ferrari's!! His daily drive is a Cross polo and has white mk2 in the garage as well which is a work in progress...

Cape Stance will now be bringing you a monthly calendar, which be presented on one of our very on photos. Readers are welcome to comment on our future photos and suggest or request a calendar made on a specific image and will be made for them at absolutely no cost. So that they can save it as there desktop background and that way CapeStance can help keep you on top of you up to date and well orientated!

In future we plan to incorporate local and a few international events, and keep you duly informed of whats happening on the streets of THE Cape!!

Finally stickers have arrived!!

For the time being there are only this sticker available in white. Its 20cm long and 2.5cm high. Each sticker cost R15 and only have 50 available at the moment but will surely get more made!

CAPE STANCE, THE LOGO

So today operates like any other day, but do my surprise I get a call from this inconspicuous voice and number. All I hear is; I left a something for you by your buddy's place, make a turn when you can. After that I realise its MR X polo, Faghri. With anxiety and excitement running through my blood, I give my buddy a call and ask if he recieves anything for me yet. To my disappointment he says no, but will inform me when something arrives. A few minutes later this picture msg arrives on my cellphone.

Faghri the original wheel whore!

On m way back from Stellenbosch on sunday, I get on to the M5 highway and make my way through a few cars and find myself infront of a sweet looking black X Polo rolling on MOMO Ferrari's (Cross polo for those of you who dont know, its the all-terrain polo) behind me all of a sudden he starts flashin me franticly! I immediately thought, "crap, this guy must not be happy about that". So I ignore it like any person would do, but then this guy continues to flash for another 3km! Now I cannot ignore this guy and he starts working on my nerves.. I decide to pull to the left and he doesnt wanna pass.. I eventually get my turnoff and this owe gives this serious look coupled by a few hoots and Im like WTF? The polo carries on the M5 highway and thats over.

The next day goes on and I get a call from a great friend of mine, Riyaad "Die Lange" International telling me what an assshole I am cause Faghri was flashing me yesterday on the highway and i dont wanna greet!

Riyaad also informs me that despite my non-greeting Faghri left me a beautiful and scarce WheelWhore.com Sticker amongst another few rare stickers!!

I could clearly put two and two together and feel like big idiot because ive been wanting this sticker for so long and especially cause Im not a guy to think Im a head above the rest, let alone greet.

So this is out to Faghri.. THANKS A MILLION BRA!!
